BRAND/ UI CASE
Updating Genero brand
Brand workshop, wireframes, visual concept and layout for shopify store.
Overview
Genero brand was updated in spring 2021, with a small team aiming to effectively renew the website as a first step. The concept work was a long process, but once we reached a decision about the visuals, the work went very quickly and smoothly.
Interviews & workshop
I interviewed key persons in Genero regarding their thoughts and hopes for the new brand. We also did a small workshop thinking about the look and feel and personality we wanted to achieve.
Benchmarking & Concept

Gathering inspiration and ideas is always so much fun. Quite often I end up doing three different concepts and present them as moodboards or styletiles. I also look at competitors, especially to make sure my ideas for the brand visuals will be unique. In this case we worked with different concepts, like the human concept, the team concept and the zen concept. The original ideas turned out to be far apart from the end result.

Final visual concept & web layouts
In the end we decided to go with a concept focusing on shapes, colors and a special beautiful font. And great copy of course! I planned a photoshoot for the brand images taken at A-lehdet's awesome studio and I did the layout of the site during spring 2021.

Styleguide in Zeroheight
After using the brand I made brand guidelines in Zeroheight for internal use to make it easier for everyone to find the brand elements.
